I'm glad to see that there are other cross stitchers out there! I listen to recordings while I stitch. I'm working on my second Paula Vaughan book. I got a first place ribbon this past summer for one of my stitches! It's a lot of work, but so worth it!

They are gorgeous! Unfortunately my hands won't hold a needle anymore. I have a garden scene that's been on hold for years. :(

I'd be happy to send it to someone who will actually finish it. lol

I prefer making large cross stitch too, Image

the one I'm making at the moment is 400 stitches wide and 334 stitches high.

does anyone else ever wonder how much their pictures would sell for?

Sometimes... But I have realised that you would never get enough money if you consider how many hours you use on it, so I never take it any farther...

I wanted to add one of my own pictures, how do we do that?

I don't cross-stitch, I can't imagine myself counting all those blocks and keeping them straight! I keep thinking I need to get into it though. My grandfather cross-stitched each grandchild an absolutely beautiful Christmas stocking, and its something I really cherish. I dont plan on having children of my own, but I would like ot do something similar for future nieces and nephews.

I do embroider though. I'm currently working on a Terry Pratchett hanging of the Hogfather and DEATH as the Hogfather. Something to keep us all sane during the holidays :). I'm also working on embroidering a muppets quilt.
