And what's more, it actually stuck! It didn't just melt as soon as it hit the ground!

I seem to remember that Larry, and his brother Darryl, and his other brother Darryl, had to face east and juggle chipmunks in order to make it snow.
And even then, there were two identical snowflakes.

You guys should see my facebook feed right now. It's seriously just pictures and video of snow and people freaking out about it. We are not used to this!
I live in Minnesota, and we have like a layer of snow; the grass is still visible. I think maybe Texas has more snow than Minnesota.

It's gone by now, except for a few patches in the shade. This seriously made some people's year, though. Happens maybe, once in a decade?

And then there is me in Alberta with about a foot of snow on the ground thinking, this is a pretty mild winter so far

It got down to 34 here east of Tampa last night. In some of our northern counties, it was in the 20's. We usually don't get that cold until January. On the bright side, the strawberries farther east of me in Plant City appear to have survived for the first crop.

The forecast is for it to reach 41 degrees in Sydney’s west tomorrow.
41 degrees Celsius, that is.
That’s about 106 degrees Fahrenheit.

In Rochester, NY, on the shore of Lake Ontario, it is currently 3°F (that's -16°C). Stiff wind makes for a wind chill of -10°F (that's -23°C).
The local zoo where I work is closed today, so I have the entire day free. I am certainly not going out in this weather, but will stay home where it's cozy and warm, and catch up on a whole lotta long-neglected LV recording and editing!
