I bought this domain a year ago with hopes of setting up an uploader and a blog about audiobooks. Life got in the way, so I never did. But with .com domains getting scarce, I hate to see it go to waste.
So if there's anyone out there who would like to make use of it, please send me an email and I will transfer the domain to you at no cost. It expired on the 18th, and the renewal fee would need to be paid by July 30th.

*cautionary tale follows*
I know of a fairly well-known photographer (of respectable subjects) who had his real name registered as a .ca domain name. His people decided to let the .ca expire and register only the .com domain name. The .ca domain name had been spidered by Google, so it aquired some value.
The day after the .ca expired, a squatter aquired it and turned it into a porn portal (just a one-page parking spot, really) and Google was returning hits on it whenever people googled the photographer's name, but not on his .com domain name.
Talk about panic. It essentially was an extortion scheme, and they tried to get it back at a decent price for months, working through anonymous third parties, lawyers, etc. He eventually did get it back, but I don't know how much it cost him.
I only know the details because at the time I was a volunteer editor for the Open Directory Project. His site was listed in one of my sections, so they emailed me about the ODP listing.
