Exciting! I may not be able to join live, but I definitely want to catch the recording! I'll try to make it, but we'll see.

Okay. I'm calling it. 1 p.m. CST Sunday, March 21st, Cover Making with Gimp, and other programs. Wear whatever togs you want. The topic is inclusive of any Cover Making skills and philosophies. All cover makers are encouraged to offer their inspirations and opinions. I'll host, Tricia will open demonstrating her Gimp program, others can demonstrate what they know as time permits, and then we'll have a Q and A.

msfry wrote: March 15th, 2021, 6:59 am Okay, how about a Cover Making Tutorial Using Gimp, Tricia can share her method, then others can show what tricks they know. We have Sunday the 21st and 28th coming up before Easter, and I'm partial to anytime between Noon and 4. 3 p.m. gives everyone time to get back from church or family luncheon. and doesn't interfere with dinner. We have 3 so far to present (Tricia, Adrian, Loon), and I can host if Phil isn't available.
Is 2:00 PM Eastern (1:00 PM Central) work? Kevin's usually up on his indoor cycling trainer around that time, so we don't disturb each other.

I'm thinking this Sunday, unless that's not enough lead time. Although I don't expect us to be doing anything the afternoon of Palm Sunday, either.
This works for me. I can show folks Inkscape and an example of text on a path.
Thanks,
Adrian

I'll be there, unless something else gets in my way. I'm interested in learning the basics of GIMP or Inkscape.

Are we going with Tricia’s time (1pm CST) or yours (3pm CST?)
