I received a message from a friend today and they asked if I could suggest a book to be put on to Librivox
Not sure of the process, but here is the book they are requesting:

14th century Chinese book
Legends of the Marsh
by Shi Nai'an

He probably means "Water Margin"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_Margin

A very famous book indeed, but it's unlikely that there is a pd translation out there that we can use for LV at this point. According to the wikipedia article above, "one of the first translations" was published in 1933, so that's another... 9 years to wait for us.

We do have "Dream of the Red Chamber" in our catalog though, if your friend's into Chinese literature:

Cheers,
Ava.
