As a professional voice talent, I needed a REAL recording space. That said, I wasn't willing to go for the cost of a booth like a Whisper Room. So, being a chronic DIY guy, I built my own. I hope you will get a few ideas for your own project. Enjoy!

Nice work, Bob. :clap: I'm sure some of the more hands-on folks here can pick up many pointers. Looks like you've done some research into appropriate materials and have the construction skills and equipment to do the job. I particularly appreciated your plan to build it in the shop and reassemble in the final location--reminds me of some of the commercial sound booth kits I've seen! Good luck with your pro work, and if you'd ever like to do some reading for fun and NO profit, we're always looking for a few good voices (actually as many as we can get) here at LibriVox.
