Have any of us considering doing this? I'm thinking of people who've been with LV from the beginning.
Special collections for fund-raisers or similar civic enterprises.
There's a kid in a Portland, Maine hospital right now named Jacob Thompson. He has a terminal illness and is asking for Christmas cards. This is currently being covered by CNN, Washington Post, and other name news outlets. I was looking in vain for public domain works on his favorite subject (penguins) but it appears the animal didn't become a popular subject for poets and children's lit writers until the 1950's.
Just seems like we could put together collections for the greater good, like other children stuck in hospitals over the holidays, or military vets in the same situation.
Partnering with other non-profits

Since our audios are PD, anyone can do anything with them.
A project like this wouldn't be officially run by LV, since it strays from our prime directive (to make audiobooks). So we wouldn't use official effort to do it. But anyone can do it on their own, if they feel led.
