Very sad news. I loved hearing Elizabby's voice and am so pleased she was my BC for a project or two. She will be sadly missed.

Wow! Sorry to hear this. I've worked with Beth on a few projects and always saw her as young and spunky. I see now that she was only 46 years old, confirming the impression of vivaciousness I heard in her voice! What a tragedy! Thanks for letting us know.

A real tragedy - someone cut off well before her time.

Beth was a genuine Librivox stalwart - working right up to the end.

Her distinctive voice will be greatly missed.

Oh, that's a shame; I knew she was being treated for cancer, but didn't know how bad it had become. She's always been so helpful and encouraging. We will miss her.

This is tragic, I am deeply saddened. I was slightly acquainted with Ms. Thomas.

She was the first user to adopt a suggestion of mine—Wendel's History Of Egypt—adopting afterwards some more.

My sincere condolences to her family.

Tragic news, I've just heard from another source and immediately came onto this forum to say how dreadful. I only knew of her, and did not have any reading contact.. I've had cancer myself so I know what a dreadful disease it is. Sympathy also to family and friends. A very sad day.

Very sad. She was in a play we just cataloged at the beginning of this month, and had other claims she had hoped to be able to complete, but alas.... Sympathy to all her family and friends.

This is absolutely gutting. I've worked with Beth on a number of projects -- and I'm shattered to hear this news. My sympathies go out to her friends and family.

The world is diminished without you, Beth. We'll all miss working with you.

I'm heartbroken to hear about Beth's passing. While I didn't know Beth personally, I had weekly contact with her for years and I feel like she's a friend. I just finished listening to The Railway Children, which came out in December, and I can't believe how Beth powered through as BC and as one of the lead characters, even as she fought cancer and underwent surgeries. The project turned out wonderfully thanks to Beth's persistence. I will miss her greatly.
