Many libraries conduct summer reading programs for the children in their communities. My library is good enough to include adults in the fun, and they do count audio books as part of the challenge! So, for every project I've DPL'ed this summer, and for some of those I've recorded, I've been logging hours at the library. Of course, for my own recording, I'm only counting the final finished length, even though of course I spend much longer than that working on it. But in this way, I've already logged 15 hours (and counting) on LV projects alone! That's three entries into the drawing that will be held at the end of the summer. Last year, I won a gift card to Sprout's (an expensive Whole Foods-type grocery store that I can't afford to shop at regularly). This year, I'm hoping for either a gift card to Star Coffee (wonderful local place across the street from the library) or tickets to an Express game (the minor league baseball team we have in our town).
