Hey, I just did an interview with a company where I do some freelance transcribing, and was able to get in a plug for Librivox. Hope you enjoy it!

Here's the pertinent part:
Q: What do you do when you aren’t transcribing?

A: In addition to transcribing, I volunteer for a wonderful nonprofit organization called Librivox.org. We record public domain books and make them available as free audiobooks. Right now I'm narrating "The Curse of Capistrano," all about this mysterious masked swordsman named "Zorro."

Little do they know, poor fellows, that she read "The Coise of Capistrano" in her Curly voice.

As the BC of the dramatic reading of the Curse, which is the project she's talking of, I can say definitively that she did NOT read it as Curly - and I would have rejected it if she had.

I would have, if I could have (imagine Curly with a faux Spanish accent - nyuk-ito, y'all! :D)

(By the way, a couple of people have PM'd me about the transcribing program at Scribie. I'm posting a referral link here; however, if that's not OK, just let me know. I'll remove it and just send it via PM to any interested parties. Thanks! 8-) )
