So that would mean his poems can be recorded now, wouldn't it, if we can just find some scans?

Two that spring to mind are "Nine Miles from Gundagai" and "When The Police Force Couldn't Spell".

When The Police Force Couldn’t Spell

Years ago when our land was new
Scholars then were very few
A poor old cabby’s horse dropped dead
In Castlereagh Street, it is said.

Policeman ‘9’ was standing by
And saw the neddy fall and die
“On this I must at once report –
Can I spell Castlereagh?" he thought.

God bless the force!
They’re never beat.
He dragged the horse into K-I-N-G Street.

It depends who we is
If they were published before 1923 they can be hosted by LV and could have always been.
after that they can be hosted by Legamus but not by LV

There is nothing automatically changing it's copyright status in the USA on the 1st January 2016 :(
