IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR READERS/BCs/DPLs
Posted: December 21st, 2015, 1:55 pm
It appears our servers are restored to Mon Dec 21, 2015 12:52 am EST. Posts and files made since that time aren't here yet. I don't know if the sysadmin is going to try to restore them as well or not. (I'm guessing not, since the post numbers will all be messed up with people posting live again.)
We've got the files sent to the uploader - we admins were watching for them and downloading them in case we weren't able to retrieve them when the restoration occurred. We'll upload them soon, but don't expect the posts to show up again, unfortunately.

Previous notice:
We currently have a problem with our servers, which have become "unsynced" and the data from the past six days is not visible or available. This includes forum posts, PMs, alterations to the Magic Window and, most importantly, uploaded files. I have contacted the sysadmin, but as I am not yet certain they will be retrievable, please read this carefully:
PLEASE NOTE:
Please DO NOT post, upload any files, or make any other changes for the time being, in case we have to roll back.
All files uploaded since 15 December have disappeared. Do not delete files on your own computers until we are sure we can get these back.
All forum posts made since 15 December have disappeared.
All changes to the database (inc. Magic Windows) made since 15 December have disappeared.
All PMs sent since 15 December have disappeared.
DPLs, please make a note of any files you have PLed so you don't have to PL them again.
This is a syncing problem between our two servers. We hope that it will be possible to retrieve the data, so please possess yourselves in patience.
ALL FILES OF PROJECTS ALREADY CATALOGUED ARE SAFELY STORED AT THE INTERNET ARCHIVE (although our own catalogue shows that they have reverted to open status).
