Kangaroo, I saw that you are going to make a community podcast. Are you going to host it in this meeting?

I don't know what you mean? I wasn't planning on it, but if everybody else agrees, I will. I'm not sure what it would be like.

So am I! Anybody thought of a meeting for the 28th? If so, let's not start it until this finishes. If this is a success, we could make this meeting an every-other-week thing, with different people suggesting times?

Question for an admin: Do you think it would be OK to have a wiki page about LibriVox Online Meetings?
Not really. And I know that sounds like a killjoy answer, but here's my reasoning:
People are FAR, FAR more likely to read news and dates here than in the wiki. Having a thread with a new post each time a meeting is planned, means that interested parties can follow that one thread, so it's easier to build up critical mass in attendees. The wiki page can't do that. You also maintain all the flexibility of a forum to decide as a group 'actually, we'll shift this meeting to an hour later' or 'we'll be talking about lady detective novels in the next session'.
A wiki is good for reference material -- I don't think there's anything to reference here. Once a meeting is over, there's no benefit to having a record of who attended and what time/date it was. If something is recorded, that can be put into a project or podcast, I can't imagine many people would listen to meetings in undigested form.
I think it's over-formalising an appropriately lightweight process, and I don't see the use of that.

There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

Good answer Cori. And it made me think of more questions to ask!
I never even thought about what we'd be talking about. Does anybody have any idea? What did you talk about in the last meeting?we'll be talking about lady detective novels in the next session'.

I talked about 'How did you become a LV volunteer' and 'Microphones and Audacity'... That was the largest topics

I don't know...
Maybe we can talk about our favorite recordings in LV?

Maybe... or maybe what books we like to record? Or both?!?
