I think I'll try to finish my chapters of The Rosary this weekend (I think I have four left to do), and if possible also my two in Wives and Daughters.

Thanks for the lift, Kri! :D

I intend to NOT record a word this weekend but instead finally collect together all of my various recordings, then edit, mix, and prepare them for uploading so that I can start filling up a coupla solo projects with completed sections.

I also (thanks to something significant kristin said in podcast 17) will every week record the Poem of the Week, even if El Professor thinks the poem's trite or beneath him, or charged with false emotion, or disgustingly rhythmical or is sickenly rhymical or is prosaic, "not worth the pixels it was written on," or even if "snobbishness is next to godliness" pops into my head.

YES! I can do it!

It looks like I may not get my recording done, as I've developed a cold. Bleah.

I still have the tail end of a cough/scratchy throat from the one I started on Christmas, so that's slowing me down a bit. Well, that and the fact that the house isn't quiet until midnight on weekends.

I got some recording done today!
One chapter of Mountains of California -- still to edit
One chapter of the Cyclopaedia -- still to edit
And a song for the folk ballad collection -- already edited and uploaded that one before I lost my courage :)

hello. I hope everyone had a relaxing holiday.

I propose to edit The Death of Ivan Ilych chapters 8 and 9

I can only hope that I will eventually become satisfied with my recordings.

BTW I can't wait to see The Count of Monte Cristo completed. It has been on my To Read List for some time.

I Will edit Cori's History of Holland (edit- done) and proof and edit some of my own recordings. The kids killed my mic so no recording for a bit.

My goals:

To thank Starlite for being such a speedy, thorough and generally fabulous editor. (Done. I *really* appreciate it, E!)
To finish editing Hist. Eng. 6-20.
To do Something with my recordings of Useful Phrases (which are currently in a bunch of little files, but could be edited usefully into just 2 or 3, mebbe.)
To edit my OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS TO DIE FOR short story which I recorded months ago.

Mebbe pick up some poor little orphans if I get recording time this weekend.
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!
