Thanks so much for all you do.
Librivox is a blessing to me.
I did fine with the old catalog, however, the new catalog seems clumsy and I can not backtrack easily to look at more books in a catagory.
Any chance of going back to the old catalog?
Or is it still there to use? And if so how do I get to it?
Thanks so much

I liked the old catalog better

We will not be going back to the old catalog, but we are working on fixing the problem with using the back button to navigate in the new version. Thank you for your patience.

Could you please restore the posting date to the catalog and make it possible to search by that? I, like my sister, used to make a monthly visit to LibriVox to scan everything that had been added that month.
The posting date doesn't appear at all in the new catalog, which makes it impossible to do anything like this now.
I agree with the original poster. I see your statement that you will not go back to the old catalog, but I strongly urge you to reconsider that position.

Yes, it does - on the left hand side of the catalog page, under the Production Details heading. The posting date doesn't appear at all in the new catalog, which makes it impossible to do anything like this now.

It's not that we won't go back to the old catalogue. We cannot. The new database is completely different from the old one.
Improvements to the search facility are still being made, but if you want to see what has been released recently it is now much easier than it was before: Browse by Title and 'Order by Release date' (on the right). Additional search tips may be found at http://librivox.org/pages/help/#2.

Hello,
I think it is not difficult to make the old catalog run parrallely.
1) As the first step it can search data before August, 2013.
2) As the second step make the old database synchronize to the new database.
I also propose to do this as an open source project.
By the way do you know Coca-Cola Classic?
Cheers,
Masa
