Certainly not many classics but finding Stephen Hawking mixed in with the Sidney Sheldon novels was interesting. Was wondering if the initial DIY model of Dove Books influenced Hugh at all.

Raffin worked mostly on American TV in pretty good films like Willa and Haywire, and the show 7th Heaven.

I was so sorry when I heard about this. Ms. Raffin and her late ex-husband did so much with their company to produce audiobooks of all types (and quality). I remember her as an actress in the '70's but it sounds like she spent most of her time on Dove Books. She was only 59 when she died and was still involved with audiobooks. Her daughter, Taylor Rose, is also in the business now.
