Hello, LibriVox!

Image

Just learned of your work, thanks for what you do!

My name is Thomas Park, and I also go by the musical moniker of Mystified.

Having listened to the LibriVox rendition of Gogol's "Dead Souls", I was inspired to transform the spoken word into a musical piece. Using special digital processing, I changed the volunteer's voice from the last chapter of the book into an experimental piece of audio.

I wasn't sure if you all would be interested in this, but to hear the resulting work of music, you need merely visit archive.org:

Thanks again for everything! A wonderful reading.

Hi and thanks for the interest!

I used a combination of music softwares such as Paulstretch Abulb Ambient, then pitch-shifted and layered the results.

Cheers!
