They have plenty of titles which look suspiciously like our own. They have a few which you may download for free, although you have to register with the site.
This is a site that is running business. I have seen all these recordings, offered for free among other audiobook projects to include ours.
I'm not saying it is a case of fraud, but it could very well be.
suspected case of profit earning through librivox material
I looked at some of the titles that match things that we have in the catalogue and a lot of them are listed as having been added in 2004. So I don't know what audio books they are offering but I doubt it has anything to do with LibriVox.
hmm. perhaps I jumped to conclusions.
I browsed through the site very quickly and theeir seemed to be a great number of very familiar titles.
I didn't mean to get anyone excited for nothing.
I guess I spend to much time around audiobooks. =)

Even if someone is selling them, it's perfectly legal; our works are in the public domain. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_domain .
Not that we LOVE it if someone sells our books (especially if they don't provide a link back to our site)-- but it's by no means a fraudulent use of our material :)

yes, I know it isn't fraud. =)
I am well aware that someone may legaly proffit off of anything I may contribute, but I have learned to dislike those who profit off of free material nontheless.
There are those who make a pretty decent living by selling pirate goods and otherwise free material, and I have seen them at work. I accept that it may happen, but I still strongly disaprove.
