My suggestions/agreements would be:-
- Agree with Jim that a different person can take it on each week, bringing their own brand of whateverness to it.
- I'd say the focus should be largely 'external', i.e. stuff that might encourage new listeners and volunteers to get involved:
--- new catalogued recordings (clips?);
--- particular projects worthy of a highlight for whatever reason;
--- news items;
--- 'spotlight'-type interviewettes, perhaps by the person podcasting that week - their own 'why I love LibriVox, how I got here, what I do here' stuff.

I think we should play to our strengths and put together a program which emphasises and explores that community. I've hung around Science Fiction Fandom for years and find that there's nothing the fandom community likes better than writing and talking about themselves.
That inward looking process actually strengthens the community and urges other people on to contribute even more to the community.
However, the focus would be decided by whoever does the broadcast for that week.
The catalogued clips sounds a good idea.
Highlighted projects.
Perhaps a short biographical bit by the host of the week.
I think that has to be optional though as many people are quite reticent to talk about themselves.
Maybe a spot to encourage readers to support projects that may be languishing.
Hmm, yes I like this, so any co-ordinator who wishes can send in a short audio file making a pitch for their particular project. It would be a good way of injecting life into projects needing volunteers (e.g. 3 musketeers).
