Thank you so much for your wonderful gift of literature and knowledge. You have truly done a Joyous and profound thing by doing all you have. Not only have you made the profound knowledge that is hidden in literature available for all, you have made it free and easy to obtain. For this I give you my deepest and most sincere thanks. I have not the words to express my the joy that listening to these readers gives to me but let this serve as a mere fraction. I do hope that you continue your Nobel venture and spread even more life to the modern generation. With my thanks given and you in my thoughts and in my prayers I say farewell

With the warmest regards
-Jared ( a.k.a. Passive Poet)

I teach in a maximum security prison. Most of my students had never read a book before. I have been using librivox audio readings with them to help them read the book as a class. It has made a tremendous difference for these men. Every time we finish a book they are anxious to start the next one. Thank you to all those who have put forth the time and energy to do the readings. You have made a great impact on these men's lives.

dear librivox team,

I owe you big time!

You are helping me improve my listen and my vocabulary in English :)

Adding listen histories while I'm commuting to and from work a way to office seems closer.

Thank you!

Hi readers! I Just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful work you are doing. I have been using Librivox for several years now and therefore I don’t remember all the books I have read. This summer I listened to The Sorrows of Young Werther, Pudd'nhead Wilson and The Phantom of the Opera, among others but a I am planning to keep listening to your books so I might as well thank all of you who make it possible.
I am dyslexic but I love to read unfortunately reading a book takes me weeks or even months,
so thank you all again and keep up the good work I really appreciate it!!!

I'm an old (83) Korean War Vet, and sometimes feel almost the last of my generation. I have developed an unexpected taste for romantic oldies where the good guys/gals come through in spite of all (Jane Austen, Lucy Montgomery, etc) but also the rest of your wonderful gifts to your unknown listeners. I do consider all of you my friends, since we share a common addiction to literature, and want to thank each of you, from the bottom of my (still often) cantankerous old heart.

A hearty thanks to those who volunteered their time and made it possible for me to listen to these books. I am a young women who suffers from periodic eye pain that makes it impossible for me to read. Thanks to you I can still enjoy wonderful books. I have listened to Treasure Island, Pollyanna, The Secret Garden, The Call of the Wild and American History Stories. I enjoyed them all and look forward to hearing many more.
Thank you,
Misha
