That bird of Kara's does get very excited.
She'll be half way through a recording and suddenly the bird decides the sky is falling and must instantly let the world know of the oncoming catastrophe.

Long live the bird! I must see if I can get a bird thrown in with my USB mic as a package deal
Honestly, it's brilliant. I love the bird in Kara's recordings, and have spent quite some happy hours at my computer relaxing and enjoying a story while involved in what would have otherwise been brain and spirit deadening work :)

Lol. I'll tell Roger-the-English-Budgie that his chirping is appreciated :)

I was told the difference between an English budgie and American one is that it likes to sit there all puffed up whislt the American one loves to do acrobatics and other antics.

Yeah. The English Budgies are a bit bigger, too. Honestly, Roger is a dull fellow, compared to our sociable, lively, friendly, pesky, American budgie (now deceased, alas). But he has a nice chirp.

I was completely mistaken.... after editing further, I realized that the above clip was taken from a recording I did before I turned the AC back on... however, you can compare it with this clip that definitely has the AC running in the background... nothing I would lose sleep over, but you can be the judge: http://betsie.info/librivox/misc/BitWithAC.mp3

I know what you mean Betsie. I did the same thing last night that I mentioned I did before in the first post of this thread. I forgot the fan was on, recorded something, then listened back and heard the hum of the fan. It was understandable and a fine recording, but the hum just...I couldn't take it.
