Praise received for sjmarky (Mark Nelson) from our 'Thank a reader' feature:
All of Mark's recordings!
and...Dear Sir,
I would like to thank you very much for your work.
During the last week, I took advantage of my holidays to listen "Princess of Mars" and "Monster men" from Edgar Rice Borrough that you kindly read for everyone’s benefits. No doubt, it was a good choice ! Your voice is very soothing and your pronunciation is very clear. You kept me listening until very late hours in the night. Since I am a foreigner, understanding another language is sometimes difficult depending on the accent and prononciation of the interlocutor. Yours is very good and easy to understand, your American accent is understandable (which is not always the case with native american speakers
I will go on listening your work in the future and encourage non native English speakers to upload your work.
Once again, thank you !
with kind regards,
Marie-Laure (from France)
Thank you, Mark Nelson. Once again you have provided me with several hours of fun, entertaining listening. The book was from 1962, Talents, Incorporated by Murray Leinster (https://librivox.org/talents-incorporated-by-murray-leinster/). I loved the story and the abilities of the various talents. This book made my time on the treadmill fly by. Thanks!
