Praise for Kaffen (Mark F. Smith) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I just finished Great Expectations read by Mark Smith of Simpsonville SC.

I so enjoyed his reading and his ability to do so many different voices. It certainly enhanced the story.

Thank you Mark. I wish you read them all!

Praise for Peter Why (Peter Yearsley) and ndoo (Nikolle Doolin) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Please thank Peter Yearsley for his wonderful readings. His voice is beautiful and very relaxing. I wish he could read to me every night!:) Also please thank Nicole Dubin ( I think i might have gotten her last name wrong). Her reading of the Turn of The Screw is amazing. I don't think anyone could have done it better.

Sincerely-
Natalie

Praise for sjmarky (Mark Nelson) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Mark Nelson:

Normally I prefer to read books myself, but having a concussion prohibits this. Your reading of several Andre Norton and H. Beam Piper titles have kept me sane.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Praise for daisy55 and gloriana (Elizabeth Klett) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I am listening to The Mill on the Floss; and as much as I am enjoying the story--there is some subtle humor--Daisy55--really brings that out of the text. The other readers are also enjoyable, one I can think of immediately is Elizabeth Klett, (who has read some super books) and so many others.

Daisy55 I hope you read a whole lot more--and do a huge long book or two all by yourself.

Thank you
Carole

Praise for kayray (Kara Shallenberg) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Just wanted to thank Kara Shallenberg for her clear and nuanced reading of A Room with a View. I suspect it took a lot of work to make it sound so effortless.

The Adventures of Sally, by P. G. Wodehouse. Read by Kara Shallenberg.

I just completed the story and wanted to send a THANKS for you work. Very good job. My hat is off to you. Wouldn't it have been a hoot to meet Wodehouse face to face?

I have listened to the audio Librivox for some time now and have decided to take the step forward of reading. I really doubt that I will achieve the caliber of your style but it is worth a try. One thing that struck me is the "evenness" of your reading from session to session: This has certainly to be the real challenge. I am most nervous about that aspect of the task.

I retired or rather trying to retire and discovered the wonderful "thing" called Librivox. I thought that my volunteering would be a choice way of returning the favors many people, like yourself, have bestowed on us.

Thanks and a query for Tom Crawford via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
to Tom Crawford, about the preface of Nigger of the Narcissus:

Starting with the thank you, I really do appreciate all the work that the reading requires. But I just want to say, I listened to the preface before I saw your note about it. I was surprised at what you wrote, because, being myself an artist, I thought the preface was really interesting and even timely, as a comment about the role of art. I would hate for people not to read it because you indicate it’s not relevant.

Thank you again,

Carla R.

Praise for Psuke (Psuke Bariah) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Hello
I just finished listening to Psmith, Journalist, read by Psuke Bariah, and I had to send a thank you note. Out of the several Librivox recordings, I've heard, Psuke Bariah's was the most enthralling. The tone, volume, and inflection of the reading made listening easy, even as I was multi-tasking during the story. I'd love it if Psuke Bariah took on more Wodehouse volumes.
Thank you, Psuke, for making my work day enjoyable!

Thank you to the readers/performers (and editors, coordinators and PLers) of Once on a Time by A. A. Milne (Dramatic Version). It was very entertaining and you brought the story to life.
So little space, so much to say.

More praise for Hokuspokus via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Hallo,

Praise for gypsygirl (Karen Savage) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Dear Karen

I listened to your librivox recording of Eldorado and completely loved it. Your voice is clear and easy to listen to, and I was disappointed to see you have not done all the Scarlet Pimpernel novels. It is a great credit to you, congratulations and very many many thanks, well done.

best wishes, Kate G.
