Praise for mermaid (Mil Nicholson) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Hi

I would like to send a big thankyou to Mil Nicholson for her wonderful reading of two Dickens books I have recently listened to: The Old Curiosity Shop and Barnaby Rudge. Mil has done a first class job and I thoroughly enjoyed listening.

It must take a lot of time to record these novels and I hope the readers realise how much enjoyment they give to listeners like myself.

Greatly appreciated

Ann

Praise for Jc (Jc Guan) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Dear J C,

Thank you very much for your readings both of Rousseau's Discours sur l’origine et les fondements de l’inégalité parmi les hommes and of Dumas's Trois mousquetaires. I listened to the first and was led to search for more things that you have read, and Dumas fit the bill nicely. I appreciate the time and care you put into the projects.

Best regards,
Keith

And one for me! :D via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Book title: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (version 2), Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, A Case of Identity Parts I & II

To Ruth Golding:

Thank you for your wonderful reading of A Case of Identity! Yours was the first recording I'd heard on LibriVox (via the Podcast) and I very much enjoyed it. I looked up a few readings and podcasts on Sherlock Holmes, the BBC series "Sherlock" having reignited my interest in the stories. You have the perfect balance of theatrical entertainment and straight narration in a way that let's Arthur Conan Doyle's words stand on their own. Thank you for lending your talents to Sherlock Holmes fans near and far.

A new LibriVox listener and fan,

Devin Y.

I'd like to thank you guys for "French Self-Taught" by Franz J. L.
Thimm. The very idea to record this book was wonderful. You all have
done a great job. I did very much enjoy both the book itself and the
quality of the recording.

Hallo Hokuspokus,

Sebastian R.
Vielen Dank, Sebastian, falls Du das liest. Ich freue mich riesig.
Der dritte Märchen-Almanach von Hauff steht übrigens ganz oben auf meiner Muss-ich-unbedingt-lesen-Liste.

My thanks to RuthieG for Flatland by Edwin Abbott Abbott. An excellent reading and I enjoyed the social satire as much as the mathematics. (I've been reading Flatterland by Ian Stewart which is much more mathematical, but also very good.)

Also thanks to Alex C. Telander for his reading of The Food of the Gods and How it Came to Earth by H. G. Wells. It's an interesting book with some wonderful moments. The ending tapers off and it isn't one of Wells' best, but it passed the time.

I've PMed these comments to the readers.
So little space, so much to say.

Praise for johng (John Greenman) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I want to say Thank You to John Greenman. I have just spent three days with him listening to Uncle Tom’s Cabin. This was a book that I have heard mentioned on and off many times in my life but the first to actually read or hear it.

I could tell that you really enjoyed reading it for as the listener I found myself pulled in and part of the story and you did not become just a noise in the background.

I would love for you to do more reading so that I may enjoy your time even more.

Thanks Again

LaQuetta B.

I am listening to The Innocents Abroad, and I am charmed by your masterful reading! You are just what the reader of this book should be. Between your reading and Mark Twain's writing, I don't want this book to end. Thank you!

Praise for Roger (Roger Melin) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I just wanted to thank Roger Melin for two of his recordings, The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects and The Thing from the Lake, both of which I enjoyed immensely!

These books were both new to me and both were fascinating (though very different!) I think you captured the excitement and uneasiness of the UFO era just perfectly in your reading.
Thanks again,
Eric

Praise for gloriana (Elizabeth Klett) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Greetings Librivox,
I would like to thank gloriana (aka Elizabeth Klett) for her wonderful gift of storyreading. She takes time in reviewing a story and developing its characters vocally before recording – and it shows! Elizabeth is a delightful and engaging raconteur. Someday I hope to start recording stories; she sets the gold standard for me.
Keep up the fantastic work!

Cheers,
Lydia E.
Dear Elizabeth,
By far, you have been the best reader I have encountered thus far on Librivox. Your style brings the characters to life. Thank you for all of your hard work in bringing such wonderful classics to the public. You have made my 2-hour work commute and my long runs so much more bearable – even enjoyable! Because of you, I have read (or rather listened to) quite a few classics. I hope you continue to read for Librivox.
Best regards,

Teresa

Just wanted to say thank you to Elizabeth Klett for the reading of Sense and
Sensibility
and Karen Savage for the reading of Pride and Prejudice. Both ladies
are excellent readers that are clear and animated. I enjoyed listening to my
