Praise for mermaid (Mil Nicholson) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Dear Ms. Nicholson,

How I have enjoyed listening to--or, rather, inhabiting, thanks to you--Dombey and Son, having just reached the final chapter this afternoon. I expect post-partum depression for a while, when I cast around for the company I've become accustomed to over the past couple of weeks, and find that they are all flown.

Possessing not half the rhetorical capacity of Mr. Toots with which to express myself, I simply can't thank you enough for giving your time, energy and talent so generously, in bringing the world of Dickens to life--in full, living sound and color! What a virtuosic reader/performer you are.

Hooray for Librivox, and hooray for professional, generous readers like you. I will do my best to spread the word about both, and look forward to listening to all of your readings.

Thank you most sincerely,

Leila G.

A couple of praises for sjmarky (Mark Nelson) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Just saw that librivox will pass on messages to the readers, and I thought I'd take the opportunity to say how much I appreciated all of your Wodehouse readings. Great diction! Great smoothness! Great animation! I've been listening at work while I mow fairways every morning at 5, and It brightens up the time terrifically. Thanks for all your work.
-Ryan C.
Would you please send a thankyou to Mark Nelson's reading of the P G Wodehouse book, Right Ho Jeeves. It was exceptionally enjoyable listening.

I am very greatful to Librivox founders and contributors for the wonderful service.

Thankyou

Praise for hosmer_angel (hosmer_angel) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I thoroughly enjoyed the First Book of "The History of tom Jones" a foundling.
The voice is agreeable. And more than that, the reader can transmit the calmed irony Henry FIelding used in Tom Jones.
The reader is hosmer_angel (I'm not a native english speaker I misheard the last name) Chris -rtle
Thank you for the time you put into it. I surely appreciate it.

Praise for knotyouraveragejo (J. M. Smallheer) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Hi,

Thank you for reading Virginia Woolf's novel, 'Night and day' (http://librivox.org/night-and-day-by-virginia-woolf/). I listened first to it over an year ago and since then I have returned again and again to your soft voice to hear the "Katherine Hilbury will do. Yes, she will do very well." of Ralph Denham. I am sure it will never grow old for me.

Thank you.

Praise for gloriana (Elizabeth Klett) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I wanted to thank you (Elizabeth Klett) for the enjoyment I’ve had listening to your reading of Jane Eyre. The first book I listened to from Librivox was Pride and Prejudice as read by a number of volunteers. I enjoyed it very much, but not as much as listening to your rendering, a single voice, read with great expression. I’ve already begun wondering what book I will listen to next. I was very glad to see that I could search on the readers name and find other books you’ve done.

You are very much appreciated by others, I’m sure, as much as I. Thank you so much for all the time you put into this labor of love.

Sincerely,
--

Riddle of the Sands by Erskine Childers

Thank you Gesine for your reading. You read it very well and your accent perfectly complimented the story.

Praise for kymmz (Kymm Zuckert) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I just finished Anne of Avonlea (http://librivox.org/anne-of-avonlea-by-lucy-maud-montgomery/). All around, it was a very strong collaboration, but this was the first time I had heard Kymm Zuckert (kymmz) read anything and . . . well . . . she’s fantastic! I’ve had no luck with “voices”, but now that I’ve heard Kymm, I’m inspired to think about it in a new way! She doesn’t so much change her voice, but she does change cadance and color to match the character who is speaking. In Chapter 22, Anne and Marilla are having a semi-serious discussion at breakfast interrupted by Davy’s chatter and antics – it was hilariously funny – like listening to the dialog in real life! So THANK YOU to Kymm for your contributions to Librivox! :)

Dear Mr. Wills,

You have done an excellent job of reading! I enjoy your voice and have been thoroughly entertained by both the content and the expression you put into it. I can only begin to appreciate the time commitment this must have taken on your part. Thank you.

Praise for icequeen (Ann Boulais) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I thoroughly enjoyed the tomes I listened to by Ann Boulais. Extremely well read and edited and with a voice I found beautifully consistent with the books read...The Interior Castle, Story of St Theresa and Story of a Soul. I have done some equivalent work for a Christian public domain website, www.ccel.org. I am currently working on Ascent of Mt Carmel. The more of these works that can be made available in audio media, the better.

Thanks again Ann.

All the best,

Kevin S.

Thanks so much to all the staff for this interesting and helpful site.

Moreover, I'd like to thank CZECHCHRIS and compliment him on his excellent reading of "The idle thoughts of an idle fellow" by Jerome K.Jerome. I found both the book and his performance really enjoyable!

That is so kind of you, Monica. I appreciate your comments very much and that encourages me to complete the Second Thoughts, which I am currently working on.

Many, many thanks.
