There are many books for which we have all the parts on the catalog. Is there a way we could link to the sequels and prequels of the book on the catalog?
That would help the person who's browsing to get access to all the books in the series.
It's not really necessary or something, I agree, I was just thinking out loud.

most/many times people do put links on the catalogue page to other books in the series. And in some cases the books are grouped like I am planning to do with Palliser novels by Trollope when book 6 is finished - at he moment each book has links to all the others.
Which ones did you have in mind ? If you posted the link to all books in a series which aren't done someone might come along and link them :D

I was thinking about What Katy Did series. And the Aunt Jane's Nieces series too. Not to forget The Jungle Book :)

Bother - now I have no excuse- but although my lovely leather set with the gold animals on it had the 3 Kiplings together - I don't think the Just So Stories belong :D

Will do in a bit

That's what I thought too, but provided the links just in case you thought they went together :)

If I find more series, I'll post the links here

Katy is done - or will be when the caches are flushed - If no one has done the others by tomorrow I'll work through them - though what actually I do if there are more than one escapes me at the moment

More versions than one, you mean? Maybe we could just link to the search page, then, with all the versions. What do you think?

What about where book descriptions mention other books?

Maybe our catalogue should eventually become more similar to Wikipedia where there are links within the text of descriptions.
