Any chance there could be a zip file containing the OGG files like you have for mp3? Or even an RSS feed that links to the OGG files?

I really like to use the OGG format but makes for tedious to download each file individually.

For example: http://librivox.org/emma-by-jane-austen/ Emma by Jane Austen... this page has the individual chapters in mp3 and ogg, but the zip file only contains mp3 as well as the RSS feed. I realize itunes only playes mp3 (without a download to give itunes the ability to listen to ogg).

Thanks LibriVox for making public domain books avail. I drive and fly a lot for work and have enjoyed listening to a number of books.

Thanks,

Brian

Hm, would that be a solution:

There is a description how you can download just the ogg's with the down them all plugin for firefox.

The way it works, we upload 128kbps mp3s to archive.org and their process derives all the rest of the files automatically, so ogg zips aren't something we can add, since we have no control over that part of the process.

The rss feed, however, is created in-house. I'll point our web-guru to this thread to see what he thinks (though he's in the middle of moving house, so it may take him a while to see it).

I've currently added this as an undocumented feature, because I'm not sure how many people will want it, so I'm hesitant to clutter up the (already busy) catalog page.

But... for (almost) any work catalogued in the past few months, you'll see that the RSS feed URL is of this form:

http://librivox.org/rss/3664

For all RSS feeds with a URL in that form, the following should work:

http://librivox.org/rssogg/3664

If the feed URL is not of that form, sorry... not likely to be done soon :).
