Congrats! Let me know if you a proof-listener ...

(DSayers, it looked like you accidentally double-posted; I just deleted the extra.)

The Calendar Sonnets are finished now and in PL'ing, and The Prioress's Tale is finished and posted. ^__^

Calendar Sonnets now in the catalog, and I finished an orphan chapter apiece from Andersen's Fairy Tales and The Spy.

Next I need to get cracking on my Devil's Dictionary section. I actually did a chunk of it but then crashed Audacity---having foolishly neglected to save it. Oh, well, such things happen, gotta get back on the proverbial horse and all that. I don't know if I'll finish it tomorrow, but I can get a good start.

My third and last chapter of The Phantom of the Opera is on its way to yousendit.com. Once again I read the start of that collaboration - target completion date: April 30. I just squeaked mine in!

Well, that clears all my claims... off now to claim some more. Librivoxing is addicting!

I am going to try REALLY hard to finish up Heidi this weekend. Ch 20 is awaiting editing, and then there are only three more after that. If I need a break from the Alps, I'll give my last chapter of The Warden priority.

You are all doing a great job! I'm not sure yet what I'm going to work on this weekend... I have some odds and ends to clear up, but I'd really like to get back to recording my solo project soon....

OK, not exactly in the Jamboree spirit because it's not towards the completion of something, but I've just recorded one of the marvellous Fables for the Frivolous - that's the only thing I have time for this week, so at least I've done one recording! :)

Also a big thank you for everyone who has jumped in and helped with claiming orphans for Pinocchio, Andersen's Fairy Tales and The Spy (and also to the 'regular' readers who are finishing up this weekend). All three projects were due to complete at the end of this month, and I think thanks to you we'll have them in Listeners Wanted next week! :)

I also got some recording done last night :) I did some of my Spoon River poems, and some of my Santa Claus solo. I think I've also decided that I'm going to attempt to use some of the editing resources we have here. I'm going to take those editors up on their word!

I too have completed a Frivolous Fable ... and also a section of the Golden Mean.... I've recorded my chapter of Vindication of the Rights of Woman and just need to get that edited... I'm thinking I'll follow Kri's example and see if I can turn it over to an editor too =)

I just finished up a recording of The Quality of Mercy (Shakespeare) for the latest poetry collection. I may also try to finish up a chapter for Villette later today. :)

Hey, everything we do is that much closer to completing something, right?

Still dragging my feet on the Devil's Dictionary section (This coming week! But then also with The Spy so close to completion I'd like to do "Fenimore Cooper's Literary Offenses" by Mark Twain for the Short Story collection soon, and I'm neglecting The Light Princess and augh!! ...common problem 'round here I'm sure).

However, I did get a couple of pieces done for the Short Poetry collection, including The Congo which is a bit longer; despite the racism in the text I'm proud of my recording of it. Not perfect, but I basically did what I set out to do.

Blah. Diction... fuzzy... Must... sleep...

Black Beauty is in the validator! a.r.dobbs did all the editing for me, and our tireless crew of proof-listeners checked everything over. I need to fix up all the id3 tags etc and tomorrow will be a busy day -- but it's almost ready to catalog! Should be complete by early next week, anyway.

Oh well done Kara, and well done everyone else! Proof-listening is also almost complete for John's solo project of Tom Sawyer, so that will go in the Validator on Monday, I think. :)

We're just churning them out!

I come in a little bit late with my jamboreeing, since it's already Monday in Tokyo, but today I completed:

- chapter 15 of Domestic Cookery
- Introduction to Vindication of the Rights of Women,
- 100 digits of phi.

I also returned my chapter of Origin of the Species to the pool because even though I already did a test recording of about an hour, I don't have time to do get it done with the respect it deserves before the end of the month deadline.

So I think that is everything I was signed up for. Whew.
