Is it a record to have 5 consecutive months with more than 100 books?
Yes. The most before was 2 months in a row. :)

This is probably our best 4-month streak until 2020:
03-2019 121
02-2019 92
01-2019 90
12-2018 109

A few days ago, I was doubtful we'd get to 100 this month. What with schools back in session in most places, people going back to work, and all that, we haven't been as frenzied as the past couple months.

But right now we're at 99. :) We'll probably blow right past 100 without stopping!

What was I worried about?

During September, LibriVox volunteers completed 110 projects (and already 3 in October), bringing us to 992 total projects for 2020.

Here are the detailed stats:

Total number of projects 15150
Number of completed projects 14489
Number of completed non-English projects 1870
Total number of languages 100
Number of languages with a completed work 44
Number of completed solo projects 7735
Number of readers 10551
...who have completed something 10357

Our best year was 2013, with 1083 works completed in the year. There's a possibility we'll surpass that in October!

At some point since last night, we broke the record for completed projects for a calendar year. The old record was 1083 in 2013. We are currently sitting at 1085.

And it is only October 24th!

Any guesses on what the final number for the year will be??

I didn't create the meme originally, but I was the one who pasted LibriVox into it over the original one.

During November, LibriVox volunteers completed 97 projects, bringing us to 1205 total projects for 2020.

Here are the other stats:

Total number of projects 15387
Number of completed projects 14701
Number of completed non-English projects 1892
Total number of languages 100
Number of languages with a completed work 44
Number of completed solo projects 7834
Number of readers 10783
...who have completed something 10541

So we capped our 100+ projects streak at 7 months. Bummer we didn't do it again this month, but it was a pretty amazing streak as it was!

We've got two projects that I know of within minutes of completion.

I'll check a bit later, but I'm pretty sure they'll go into December's count. (I think the stats use GMT.)
