With everyone's hard work, we completed 155 projects in July.

This past month was the most productive month in the history of librivox so far!

The rest of our stats are as follows:
Total number of projects: 10574
Number of completed projects: 9962
Number of completed non-English projects: 1342
Total number of languages: 94
Number of languages with a completed work: 36
Number of completed solo projects: 5542
Number of readers: 7604

We have already completed two projects for August, too, and we've got 38 projects to go to reach 10 000 completed projects!

Let's repeat what was said elsewhere:

We have completed project # 10,000 on August 6th, 21:13 GMT, as part of our 11 years - 10,000 projects? drive.

The lucky project is:

That's really interesting! I would have predicted a drop in project completions in August, after the "big push" of July - but I would have been wrong! I wonder if some of the August completed projects got their main momentum through the energy of the July clean up... :hmm:

The first week plus of August was still part of the Anniversary push, and we came out of that will a really good start for the month. I saw a number of projects get really close to done by the anniversary, and then finish later in the month. All around, a fantastic effort by all of our volunteers!

Unfortunately, as part of the server breakdown, we lost the post with stats for the month of September. Admins are still working to restore the catalog data for projects completed after September 15th, so any numbers I pulled now would not be correct.

I'll wait until we get to the end of October, and then post stats for both September and October.

Number of completed non-English projects 1376
Total number of languages 94
