I've a couple more on the way so we will geet there but lets not get so carried away with numbers to overlook the fact that 1 hour listening can be 1 project as can 15 hours

Time to put July in the books. During the last month, LibriVox volunteers completed 121 projects, bringing us to 735 total projects for 2020.

Here are the detailed stats:

This includes the first-ever full-scale project in Czech, as well as the first-ever sections in Macedonian and Maltese.

Fourth consecutive month with 100+ completed projects.
So far we've completed on average 105 projects a month.

We hit 100 today with 10 days left in the month.

This may be the new normal for a while. And, a big shout out to the MCs who must be working double time to manage all these projects.

EDIT: Looks like we're averaging five projects a day, so far this month. With six days left, we really MIGHT beat that record, if we keep it up!

A bit of history:

That record was set in 2016, just before our 10th anniversary when we all pulled together to get 10000 projects catalogued for the anniversary. (And we did!

I just cataloged number 145 for the month, which officially makes us the 2nd best month on record.

We aren't going to get to #1 this month- that is 155.

During the month of August we cataloged 145 projects, (and 4 already for September) for a 2020 total so far of 883.
