a lot of action going on, there might have been cow stealing, but I can't remember that incident. But I didn't read it all, only my sections

I was going to suggest the icelandic sagas but while looking them up the forsythe saga also came up in the search results

We have quite some dedicated readers!

And the 1001 nights will probably be just as long. We also have it in Spanish, btw, but nowhere near completion either.

Thanks for the NF suggestions! I knew about the "Book of Household Management", must check if this was already picked. Gray's Anatomy ( in 5 parts) also has more than 63 hours in total.

I would like just to mention here the Historia by Herodotus in Spanish. I think you Availle aready spotted it, so my post is not really necessary. The ninth and last book has just been completed by Tux very recently. The nine books make about 36 hours reading. The first book was completed in 2011.

Yes, I saw that over in the covers thread, but thank you for posting this here as well so that I can keep things together!

I would LOVE hearing of other non-English epics that we recorded, so if anybody knows of endless books in language x, let me know! (Do we have "War and Peace" in Russian?

)
