I'm also scared of the Wiki...
Name: Justin Brett
Location: UK - England - South East
Accent: Conservative RP
Other info: ? (can also do Latin, lousy at accents...)
Example: Gloria
If you would like to listen to the example and put anything in the other info section then that would be fine. Someone else's opinion of what I sound like would probably be better than my own!

I'd like to be added to this awesome wiki even if I'm new here.
I couldn't describe my accent for my life, but here's a sample
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/sj/introbesteyandiareout_lc.mp3
so if anyone with a good ear could write a description for me...
Other info: Can do a very lousy English accent if needed
Location: Earth would do :p

As far as accent is concerned, I'd much prefer if you could write your own description. If not, then maybe someone else can offer some suggestions, but I'm rather lousy at describing accents.
Also, would you have something more continent-specific for location? The table is made so that listeners can browse by location, so it would be helpful to have some clue to that effect.
Thanks a lot!

Oh well, I thought someone could help since non-natives have had their descriptions written for them.
You can put Europe then, even if it sort of takes out some of the fun in it

Actually, everyone wrote their own descriptions.
(The policy here at LibriVox is that we don't judge people's accents, so it would be a bit against the LV spirit if I had people describing others' accents in the table.)
I put you in the table, and tried to accommodate your description as much as possible. As for the accent, it's yet to be added. (and it's not mandatory either)

Hi Jc,
I see we've got a few more samples in the UK table. Shall I add that colum for the other areas too? It does look like a 'goer'.
Cheers!
David

Would anyone be so kind and put something along the lines of 'reads a bit of German' in my 'other info' box?
Thanks!
Julie.
Thanks!
Julie.
Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
Mr. Wooster, how would you support a wife? Well, I suppose it depends on whose wife it was, a little gentle pressure beneath the elbow while crossing a busy street usually fits the bill. (P.G. Wodehouse)
