Test Project: Readers Accent Table

We've had some demand for this, so here is a Wiki page where readers can put information regarding their accents, or lack thereof. I've tried to make this as objective as possible, so the readers will be sorted by location: UK, US & Can, Austr & NZ, and Others.

Right now, this is OPT-IN ONLY, so please only post your own info. Depending on the popularity, part of it might become OPT-OUT (you'd be listed according to the Location listed in your forum profile) but I'll see about that, since it's a lot of work to track down everybody.

You may supply as much or as little info as you wish. There's a colum for Reader (your FORUM NAME, please), Location (As vague or precise as you deem comfortable), Accent (your own qualification/description), and any relevant Other Info.

So, without further ado, here's the page
http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Accents_Table

And if you're scared of the Wiki, you can just post here and I'll add the info
EDIT: If you post in this thread, please also provide the link to your catalog page. Thank you!

Hey Jc,

Okay, got mine in. Now, is this accents we have or accents we do...

...or both?

Um... The accent listeners are most likely to encounter? I don't think it'll be realistic to ask for every accent you've ever done in a LV recording. Although, if you want to share the info, knock yourself out :D.

(My French recordings would be "Québécois attempting to sound neutral"... LOL)

Thanks for participating!

the only thing is I'm not sure what kind of accent people would say I have. I grew up in Massachusetts, some people hear it and some don't.

If someone wants to listen to my recordings, say the recent Alexander's Bridge, I'd be happy to be categorized. My guess would be mild Northeast US.

Hi Jc - I added myself, but you may want to rearrange... did you want all Canadians together and all US together, or just add people to the bottom as they sign up?

I try to keep things as ordered as possible, while it's still manageable. I do try to keep countries together, but you don't need to worry about that.

Thanks :)
