Hello!!
I just wanted to know if you'd like me to put this in the Accents column, or in the Other info one? also, would you like to have US > FL as a location, or something more detailed? (If this goes into the Other Info column, you could also, if you want, specify your "usual" reading accent)

Thanks!

Accents column I guess, although this is pretty burlesque and might be better as Other ;) . Location is fine as is.

Hmmm... I've been thinking of adding myself for a while, but I really don't know how to classify my accent in English. Hispanic, maybe? Could someone please listen to one of my recordings and tell me? =/

In Portuguese: definitely "carioca" (Rio de Janeiro).

I'd be more than grateful if someone could add me there, or I might end up breaking the wiki.

You don't have to classify your accent. I would be perfectly fine if you decide to include yourself by just putting down your location.

I'll add you to the table

Just in case anyone was wondering whether to bother putting a sample in, I'm using a very short poem, recorded for a Collection a little while ago ... and it's had 55 downloads since I put it up on 18th May.

So, yes, go for it! I think most people are using direct archive.org links, but I was curious about whether anyone actually listened, so put a file in my own webspace.

Greg, please could you post again when the project is catalogued, since the files are deleted from the uploader at that point.

(I'd recommend generally that we don't link to uploader files as samples, since there's a surprising amount of listening traffic on this list, and our uploader isn't intended for public use. It's difficult for new contributors, true, but that's the nice thing about Weekly Poetry, it's in the catalogue pretty quickly. :D )

I was probably aware that those got deleted. But, one thing drives out another.

Here's the poem for my sample, this time from the download site.
