One of my hobbies is turning words into acronyms. For example, did
you know that acronym is itself an acronym: Annoying, Compressed
Representations Of Names You (always) Misunderstand
. (I'm rather
proud of this one.) So, I've turned my attention upon LibriVox.
Here's the first go (a recursive acronym):

I work in acronym hell... the Air Force... (not military, just support contractor)... so I personally hate acronyms.... but they are fun to mess with.

A year ago+ we did a transformation and our organization acronym actually had to be changed because of the detailed, vulgar explanations of the acronyms we were coming up with. :)

in canada there were two right wing parties:

the Reform Party of canada
and the Progressive Conservative party of canada

after much debate & controversy they decided, sort of, to join forces. the resulting party (for one, wonderful, day) was called:

Canadian Conservative Refom Alliance Party

they quickly changed their name, for obvious reasons, to Canadian Reform Conservative Alliance...which morphed finally into the Conservative Party of Canada.

here's a link that proves I didn't make it up:

As I read it, I can actually hear your voice grandly enunciating it in that inimitable ChipDoc style! Image
