I finally managed to find the Youtube Librivox Audiobook list and subscribe to it. Neat. As a covermaker, I vastly prefer the covers not being stretched to fit. And, I notice the photographic quality is somewhat diminished, and hope this can be corrected.

So this is an automated process. Perhaps this could be explained and videoed on a future Zoom session.

In the past I rescaled to covers to a 720p equivalent but sometimes YouTube ended up stretching it as a result. I now keep the original 300x300 image which is never stretched but the result is 240p which is a bit reduced quality. Ideally there would be a better quality image than the 300x300 that could be used since 300 pixels will never lead to anything better than a 240p video at YouTube.

We all design in 600 x 600 or higher, for use on the CD Cover Inserts. But that is not submitted as a separate jpeg to LV. If there was a place to upload our larger artwork, I certainly would do it.

If the 600x600 image could be put to the archive that would be great. I will test now to upscale automatically to 600x600 from the 300x300 to see if it makes a better output after video rendering.

I can give you one to try - but there is no way they can be included in the API at present, so I think we will have to grin and bear it.

I got it now after I saw your PM, that is already on YouTube so I need something in advance of it being published if possible to inject it into the script. But 800x800 is a real beauty compared to 300x300 . Even if not in the API or on the project page, if it can be put on the internet archive with some sort of naming convention like adding _hd at the end would suffice for me to automatically find it.

Those aren't languages in the works, but ones without a full project of their own. Many of them are (completed) in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: https://librivox.org/group/512
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart
Humor: My Lady Nicotine
