I'm a newbie so I want to make sure I'm requesting an o.k. to read in the correct way. I read 3 chapters in one book and those have all been approved. I made a request for several different chapters in several different books and would be happy to get an o.k. for any or all of them. I haven't heard back from anyone about my request(s) so I'm not sure if I should only request 1 item at a time before I make other requests or how long it usually takes to hear back. Thanks for your advice.

Your recent claims in Love's Coming of Age and Stories from the Ballads have been acknowledged.
Your request to see the thread of Nellie Brown was answered.
Is there something else you're waiting on?

We are all volunteers here, with different amounts of time to spend on LV. Different time zones are also an issue. I wouldn't worry about acknowledgement unless my request was a week or so ago.
