Hello Everyone,
I am starting a solo project and I was wondering if it is permissible to eliminate the references to the bibliographical material listed in the preface to the work "The history of St. Dominic, founder of the Friars Preachers" by Drane, Augusta Theodosia, 1823-1894.
Here is a link the beginning of the section within the preface the enumerates the most referenced bibliographical works.

I appreciate any guidance you can provide.
Warm regards,
Dean

It's an important part (and a good chunk) of the preface. I don't think it can be omitted. Fortunately, it doesn't look hard to read.
Maybe consider omitting the preface altogether, if you'd rather not read the bibliographical material.
