Is there a maximum permitted file size for uploads? I've tried a couple of times to upload an mp3 file which is over 132Mb long, and after most of it has been uploaded, the process fails with an "Empty file upload result". I've listened to the beginning and end of the file and it seems okay.

Yes, 100 MB, I'm pretty sure. It's in text on the uploader page.

A 132 MB MP3 file at 128kbps would be, what, 144 minutes long? Isn't there a policy of limiting a single file to 60 minutes or less? Something to do with being able to fit it on a standard audio CD.

You're right. I should have spotted that. The sound file is actually less than one hour long, but I had reloaded from the FLAC file to do some editing; somehow the sample format and export quality had got changed from what they should have been.
Thanks for that pointer.
