Who is a Proof-Listener?
What are his/her duties?
How can I be a Proof-Listener for Librivox or for that reason,can I even be a Proof-Listener?
What would happen if my work as a Novice Proof-Listener is not Good?
How can I help the Librivox Community other than being a Proof-Listener or a Reader(As my voice somehow is very bad on the Microphone)and other than monetary help(As I still don't earn Money).

I would be thankful for Your answer.

Hello and welcome to LibriVox.

You can find informations to PL here https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Main_Page#Proof_Listener_.28PL.29.

If you like, you can help to make covers. Informations you will find here https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Main_Page#Graphic_Artist.

You can also try to recording. I don't like my voice that much either. But everyone hears you the way you do when recording. You just have to get used to your own voice.

You will definitely find something that you enjoy.

Have fun. 8-)

By the way,How will I get to know that a Proof-Listener is needed for any project? From what I have observed, there is No 'Proof-Listener Needed' section on the Forum page.

If a PL is needed, you will see it on the ~ in front of the subject-line in 'New Projects Launch Pad' or 'Listeners & Editors Wanted'.

Not many or even none of us like the sound of our own voices much. But as you get really experienced at it you get to tolerate it a bit more.
