Hello to all! I am new to Librivox and am so grateful for the warm welcome this community has shown me. :) I am wondering three things:

1) Can we suggest projects even if they have already been recorded by someone previously?

2) How do books get chosen to go on the Apple “Audiobooks” application?

3) Can Librivox works be accessed internationally? I have family in Norway that is curious to hear my future readings.

Thank you all for being patient while I learn the ropes, and I am thrilled to start volunteering once my microphone arrives in the post in two weeks!

1. You can record a book that has already been done. I wouldn't recommend "suggesting" that someone else do it; that hints that the current version isn't "good enough" (although I suppose I could see someone requesting a solo version, if there is only a group version). Readers have recorded multiple versions of their own favourite books over the years.

2. No idea. I suppose one would have to ask the app developer. :)

3. Yes, internationally accessible, either through our website here, or via Archive.org. :)
