I haven't been able to find any other authors, but I'm sure there are some that I just don't know are Canadian. Although, I have found some books I'd like to read now.
Oh ya! When looking for Canadian authors, I found some too that looked very interesting. At the moment, I am trying to keep as much of my work Canadian. I felt it was an area that was lacking. But in looking over what we have so far, we haven't done so bad at all.

It is an area that we're lacking to some degree. But in looking at books that I know are thought of as "essential" Canadian Lit, most are not in the PD yet.

Oh ya exactly. Canada just isn't that old.

They have the first 16 volumes of the Chronicles Of Canada Series! I just emailed them to tell them of our on going project to record these. Lets hope they decide to link to our site!

Wait, does this mean that Pete's Dragon was set in Canada? I never knew!!
Wikipedia: Passamaquoddy is the name of a fictional, turn-of-the-century, seaside fishing village in Maine, presumably near Passamaquoddy Bay, in the Disney movie Pete's Dragon.

Another possible source for some Canadian literature is www.canadiana.org -- Early Canadiana Online. I did very little searching on it, but there does seem to be a substantial amount of material available; whether any of it is usable for Librivox recordings, is for someone more astute and knowledgeable than I to determine.
At the moment, my connection is very sluggish, so I can't easily browse the material, but I did see something about War Diaries (WWI journals), Canadian poetry, and other tantalizing links to literature.
It seems to be organised by topic, with mixtures of media within each topic.
I know I've gotten some mp3 files from there that were vintage recordings of folk music.
There is no frigate like a book / To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page / Of prancing poetry.
