Hey gang,

Is there a standard file type most Proof Listeners are using?

I find myself wanting to make an Excel spreadsheet, but I guess not everyone has Excel.
  • Excel
  • Word
  • .txt file
  • .pdf
And, are there any templates floating around out there? 8-)

I'm not sure what you'd need a dedicated file for since you'll have to give feedback in the relevant thread and not send files around.

If this is just to keep track of your own commitments, once you are signed up as a dedicated proof listener for a project, you will get a personal reader (or rather: DPL) page on the librivox website that will list all the projects you are DPLing for and which sections need attention.

Have a look at my page and click "PL VIEW" to see what this looks like:

I generally just use Word or Google Docs to keep track of my notes and then paste them into the project thread to respond.
