Apple Airpods

Hello,

I am new to the forum and just submitted my 1-minute test. I used the Apple Airpods for my microphone. Would the Airpods work as a decent microphone?

If you can get good sound quality out of them and the correct tech settings, then that is all we need.

I'd be concerned about charge time (how long can you record before they need to be recharged?) and if using them to record would shorten their life. If heavy use of them for recording makes them die every 6 months, that would get awfully expensive.
