Hi,

I'm a brand new volunteer with Librivox and posted my intro a few days ago. I haven't received a response, but I did notice that there is a red star on the circle icon. What does this symbol mean? About how long does it take to get a response on the intro? Can I submit my 1-minute test without it? Thank you for your help.

Welcome!

Yes, you can do your test recording without a response to your intro. The intro is totally voluntary. :) (I know I'm bad at responding to intros and welcoming new folks. We don't have people assigned to that; it's all voluntary, as the spirit leads.)

The star means it's you have posted in the thread.

Hi Jeremycat. Here is a little video on our forums https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK9HAdLF-2k&t=30s
"I lost my trousers," said Tom expansively.
