I'm thinking of doing a solo recording of a book which has a few chapters that will need to be divided because of their length. I'm wondering about what the intro looks like in this case. Two options come to mind:
Section <s> of <book title> by <author>
<LV PD disclaimer>
Chapter <c> <chapter title> part <p>
or
Chapter <c> part <p> of <book title> by <author>
<LV PD disclaimer>
<chapter title for chapter part 1, nothing for other parts>
Of course, if a section contains the entire chapter, then "part <p>" is omitted. Also, I prefer to have "recording by Tom Penn" at the end of the recording rather than the beginning, so I have left that bit out.

Either works.
At the end of Option 1, you'd say "End of section <s>. Recording by Tom Penn."
At the end of Option 2, you'd say "End of chapter <c> part <p>. Recording by Tom Penn."
That way the beginning and end numbering are consistent for the listener to hear that they're listening in order.
