I've twice got "Empty file upload result" when trying to upload an mp3 file to my project. The file's definitely not empty, as I'm able to open it and play its start and end without problem. I'll shut down and try again.

I just uploaded a file and had no problems. Try the standard troubleshooting items:

- Log out, then back in
- Remove any metadata from the file
- Double check the file type
- Make sure the file name has no "strange" characters (punctuation, characters with accents, etc.)
- Double check the file size (under 100 MB?)

I don't know that I've encountered that specific error message before, so I'm shooting in the dark. :)

Thanks, Tricia; I think that error message must be triggered by files that are too big.

[I cut the following out of my earlier post, so it's a bit more obvious.]

When I looked, I was puzzled about the file size. The time was what I expected (just under an hour), but instead of around 60MB, it was about 135MB! Audacity had exported the mp3 at a quality much higher than usual. When I reset it to 128 kbps, constant, it exported okay.

This change in parameters seems to have been triggered by updating Audacity to the new version.
