i would like to read books in spanish, but i don´t know which ones are under public domain. any suggestions???? :D

Simply put, look for anything published before 1923.

We have three completed Spanish audiobooks, and some in progress which you would be more than welcome to join in. Click here for the list. The people coordinating the three current projects will certainly help you with suggestions.

One of our main sources for English texts is Project Gutenberg -- they have many other languages too, though fewer texts in each. The listing of all their Spanish texts is:

http://www.gutenberg.org/browse/languages/es

All of these are Public Domain in the US and therefore eligible to be read here at LibriVox (because all our finished files are stored on a USan server.) However, for people outside the US, note that copyright varies and may be Life-of-author + 50 or 70 years, so not all of these books may be out of copyright elsewhere. Up to you whether you let that worry you or not ...
