Clarification: are multiple copies of same book OK?

We're having a bit of a kerfluffle in another thread, so I thought I'd just see if I could get some *official* clarification.

Is it OK to start a new recording of a book if there's already other versions of it in the catalog?

My feeling is *of course,* because certainly we record lots of the same poems, short stories, etc. in the different collections. However, it would help to know if there are any *official* rules about this, for those choosing new projects.

Thanks for your thoughts! 8-)

Yes, it's okay.

It'll be harder to find readers for a group project on a Version X+1 book, but that's just a reality rather than a prohibition. :)
